WWII US Army Air Force M4A2 Flack Helmet Pilot / Crew NOS 100% orig Very Rare

This is a nice and very rare NOS M4A2 gunners flack helmet. This was used by WWII bomber crews and replaces the steel pot style flack helmets. It is designed to fit over a soft flight helmet with the head phones. This has some storage wear and will need a little dusting off. It was packaged in tissue type paper and there is some residue from it here and there on the inside and outside. A damp cloth should get most of it off. One inner flap has some dark staining like something was sprayed on the inside. There is a tiny spot on one flap where the fabric has split from rubbing on the crate while in storage. (See pictures) The leather is in good condition but will need to be treated with a leather cleaner. (it has some tissue paper stuck to it as well) This has been in very long term storage and is just now coming out. What you see is exactly what you get. Don’t miss a rare original.
