WW2 US Army Air Force seat pack parachute 1942 complete early bayonet fasteners
An early WW2 US Army Air Force issue 1942 dated Irvin Air Chutes seat pack parachute S-1 with the early bayonet fasteners that proved unreliable and were replaced by snap hooks. In very used condition it shows use and was assigneed to Maj H. P Neal of the th base unit in Memphis Tennessee. The rip handle is chrome, the back pad is the early pear shaped style and this has the rare rubber sponge seat cushion with inflation valave. It there but pretty rough as seen in the pictures.
