Welcome to my listing for a superb and desirable 1/72 Scale Corgi Aviation Archive Set this is as Boeing B17E Flying fortress, A North American P51D Mustang & a Republic P47D Thunderbolt- this is AA99126. This awesome Corgi Homage to the might 8th the US Army Air Force’s 8th Airforce. B17F #23712’Miss Minookie’ which flew with the 8th from 1942 until February 21st 1944 when it was shot down by fighters over Luechtreigen, Germany. P47D Thunderbolt’Rozzie Geth II/Miss Fire’ of Captain Frederick Christensen which flew with 62nd FS/56th FG based at Boxted in July 1944. P-51D Mustang of 375th Fighter Squadron, 361st Fighter Group based at several airfields around the UK. The squadron received Mustangs while based Bottisham, Cambridgeshire in May 1944 before moving to Little Walden in Essex. Part of the limited release of 4000 units this is certificate number 0616.
