These pants appear to be in good condition for their age. There are a couple of small areas on the leather surface where the upper surface of the skin is missing due to wear. I do not see any tears or visible problems other than these areas. There are 7 zippers and all are marked Talon. The zippers move and appear to be shiny brass without any corrosion; however, I think that some lubrication would be advisable if you plan to move them on a regular basis. I thought about rubbing them with some candle wax or bar soap which we used on zippers when I was a kid but will leave it up to you. Please look at the photos carefully to ascertain that this item meets your expectations; if you are a collector, you probably have higher expectations regarding old clothes than I have. The leather is old and you can see that there are a couple of wear spots as mentioned above. All of the leather probably needs some kind of leather conditioning or preservative but that’s not what I do. I like these pants and I think you will too. The item “WWII World War Two U. S.
