Recent Northern Virginia estate find. Major Ripley began his military career towards the end of WWII in the Army Air Forces and continued through the Korean and the Vietnam Wars in the US Air Force. We will be listing many items from this estate from all the wars including flight suits, flight bags, pilot helmets, and other items. A wonderful piece of history. This Aviator’s Kit Bag has the original Army Air Forces winged star log. Obviously use, but still in wonderful condition. Does show some light wear and tear, but other than some small wear areas and light stains, no damage related issues. Straps, seams, and zipper are all sound and no musty odor. No significant rips or large holes. Please see photographs for design, dimensions and condition.
