Early WWII US Army Air Force Issue Wool Trench Overcoat Garrison’s Cap & Gloves. First Off sorry for shadows on lower portion of coat etc. Look at close ups and you can see there are no dark spots/shadows. Offered here is a beautiful Double Buttoned Down Front(double breasted button either side) Wool Trench Coat Army issue from clean estate and it was stored right for last 70 years has no moth holes and or odor smells. The condition of this one is so good it looks like it was not used at all. I didn’t fluff or brush the areas to hide this incase you wanted to see them for yourselves. The size 7 Garrison Cap and Army Issue gloves were also in with his belongings and oddly enough the gloves look to be same hand but when you put them on each hand they seem fine, and the white printing on them also makes them look as though they are a left and right glove(little paper was inside one of the gloves) The size of the coat is as follows: Across front right at pocket bottoms is 23″inches across laying flat so times that by 2 for the 23″ across back. Bottom hem edge front is 30″1/2 inches across laying flat also so times that by 2 also for the 30″1/2 across back. Down the front center starting from the low buttoned neck V to bottom hem edge is 401/2 inches long. Sleeve lenght is as follows Top of the outer shoulder seam down to hand/wrist cuff edge is 25″ inches (arm lenght of sleeves) Across front Arm Pit to Arm Pit is 21″ inches across. Back lenght is as follows top of collar to bottom hem is 48 inches in lenght. Very Well Made Coat by itself it weights right at 7 pounds. Button are all present and in very nice condition. See last pic for only two noted or found issues and their small very minor one on cap with arrow showing it and same for coat sleeve in area were the patches were and it’s eraser size spot or smaller no hole just a rough spot to wool fabric.
