WW2 Vintage US Army Air Forces Pilot 10K Gold Ring Size 11 Pilot Officer Ring

World War Two USAAF Pilot Officer Ring. 10k Gold by Balfour. This was issued to my Grandfather in 1942. He was a P40 pilot. After graduating from flight school he was transfered to 314 Fighter Squadron 57th Fighter Group. On April 18th, 1943, he took part in the “Palm Sunday Massacre” off Cape Bon Tunisa. He was shot down and declared missing and declared dead one year later.
