The Type A-9 flying jacket was the pre-production of the USAAF B-10 jacket, which was issued to very limit units in early 1940s’, the main difference of the 2 jackets is the A9 jacket was made out of the dark olive color ply combed cotton twill while the B-10 was in olive drab stain dreill. Our A-9 flying jacket featured with the dark olive cotton twill material, the Alpaca and Wool Pile Undyed Natural Color lining, and the 1/2 Inch Shearing collar, it come with a 1940 style left open brass black oxidized front zipper, and the correct type buttons and snaps.
