Handmade Vintage WW2 US Army Air Force Patch, Bullion (Gold And Silver)

It was given to my late grandmother as a gift by a WW2 pilot. See the picture of the note from my grandmother with full info. The note is NOT included with the patch but you can have a picture of the note. The back of the patch is scratched up with what appears to be dried glue, but the front is in great condition.
