This is a WW2 Camillus folding machete used as part of a bail out survival kit during WW2. This was part of the personal gear for Technical Sergeant Walter Liddle who was stationed in Basingbourne, England during WW2. He was part of the Army Air Corps, 8th Air force. He was a Aviation mechanic on B-17s. Walter was the late husband of my old neighbor and I bought it from his daughter when his wife passed and they were clearing out the house. It was in his possession since his time in England.
